i’ll be officially announcing the ep 8 cover contest soon, and come back 8/12 for the start of ep 8!! yes.. it’s a pretty long break but oofa doofa i’ve gotten very busy and i need some time to build up my backlog of comics again haha
in the meantime i’m hoping to maybe do some q&a’s? with the characters or stuff about lore. there may be some patreon stuff i’ll post publicly, idk! let me know if you have anything you’d like to hear about in the interim before ep 8.

Ep 7 Cover Contest Winner!
episode 7 cover has been chosen!! big congrats to @honeybitz (on tumblr)
i couldn’t resist!! having a traditionally drawn cover!! it made me so happy to see, i love seeing the marker lines on there, as someone who does.. exclusively traditional art, it was just really nice to see. I WAS TOUCHED. i love knowing this is physically out in the world right now. plus look at lil yahuul there. just vibing. you love to see it.
anyways once again it was a terribly hard decision, i complained about it everywhere lmao, it’s really hard!!! to choose!! but! once again, since there were a pretty low amount, i’m gonna be able to fit them all in as full pages!! so i’m happy about that. NOT THAT I DONT LIKE LOTS OF ENTRIES i just like being able to show them off. bc they are all lovely.
once i get the pdf together, that will be sent out to everyone who entered! look forward to print preorders for ep 7 AND ep 6 june 1st!
also the next two cover characters and their colors are up on the website! not official posts, i dont have dates for the contests yet (it’ll be a while) but if you wanted to get a head start on either of them, they’re up there!

STORE RELOCATION + NEW MERCH!
wow big news! store is on here now! we’ve got everything kos in one neat place now (for the most part). as you can see on the side bar, there’s a little featured product there for you to check out. i know i never announce product properly so. hopefully having that will let more ppl know what’s actually in the store lol.
edit: ALL THAT BEING SAID it is new, so if there are hiccups, please let me know and i’ll do my best to fix them
speaking of which, two things were added! you can now buy the little hana pen charms (there’s not a whole lot, may do preorders for more later) and chicken pins!! aren’t they cute.. so those are the two featured items right now.
also now available in store are the extra Ep 5 print vers. and lava bon charms left over from preorders! so do go check those out as well.

the ep 7 cover will star everyone’s fave green angel of doom: YAHUUL! and the color is (of course) GREEN! any green you want is fine, i’d love to see a variety!

2.1) when you’ve done that please email me a link to your post and the actual pic to [crabbng(at)gmail.com] so i dont miss any! (and also so i can contact you easily if u win!) ***there were a couple submissions last time that forgot this part but please dont!! cause otherwise it’s hard for me to correctly credit people when getting them formatted for print.
2.2) email me the background you’ve made! (just the pic without the character) i’ve been using the backgrounds of the covers for the back cover

episode 7 coming soon! starting 4/1, due to work and school i haven’t had much time to work on comics, so my backlog is running low. so! we’re moving back to posting one day a week, on thursdays, scheduled for the same time (5:30pm, though i usually post them earlier)
