The Struggles of Youth

Two new webcomics to SpiderForest about being in a new school and learning new things about yourself... with a twist.

The Nightmare Witch - Five children struggle to find a future living day to day with a condition that causes them to create monsters.

True Colors - The first day of college is a big step...just don’t let the past trip you up. At least there’s free pizza.

TRANSCRIPT:
panel 1: marsione stands in front of her stained glass window. she doesn't look particularly perturbed. marsione: "who is this friend? perhaps i've heard something about him."
panel 2: tera approximates something small with her hands. bon looks at her, face blank. he would be thinking: "seriously?" tera: "he's- uh.. he's a- a little guy.."
panel 3: tera (off-screen): "Bon- you describe him." bon looks up, thinking, raising a finger for each point he makes. bon: "big little guy. red hair. sharp teeth." he gets all smiley, looking at his hand distractedly. bon: "big pretty eyes.. dark red. gets really excited about little things.. talks NONSTOP."
panel 4: bon (off-screen): "uh- good with tech-y.. stuff." marsione looks through a big bin of magazines. one has hatsune miku on the cover. marsione: "sounds familiar.."
panel 5: tera peeks over marsione's shoulder. tera: "gossip magazines?" marsione grins. marsione: "you'd be surprised what you can hide in these. great for spreading information."
panel 6: marsione holds up a magazine with a tiny picture of hana and marek on the cover (an artistic representation). marsione: "dwarf, red hair, sharp teeth. is this your friend?" tera stares at the magazine, flabbergasted. tera: "the king's new fling?!"
panel 7: bon startles, truly shocked by this. bon: "WHAT?!!" tera raises an eyebrow as she flips through the magazine. tera: "perhaps he's getting on better than we thought.."
