HI I LOVE ASTER AND THE FIRE!!!! do u like fun sci fi/fantasy???? you should because you are here. well. here is another take on it, though it's kind of flipped, with fantasy elements in a more sci fi world. and it's super fun!! well. it's fun to read. it's got a sci fi car repair shop, which is just catnip for me. i love mundane locations in sci fi. oh, also read it for Ibis, my celebrity crush.
TRANSCRIPT:
panel 1: Bon huffs angrily, before being distracted from his rage by Hana. Hana (off-screen): "Wow!"
panel 2: Hana looks at Bon with just the most sickening fondness. Hana: "You're so passionate about kids- I didn't know!"
panel 3: Hana continues (off-screen): "it's very sweet!" Bon rubs the back of his neck and blushes. Bon: "ah- I.. I guess so..." He quickly changes the subject: "A-anyways.. listen-" He holds out a hand in front of him, looking away from Hana because he's embarrassed about being genuine. Bon: "I know saying all that's not gonna put a big dent in how you feel-"
panel 4: Hana sits and listens to Bon. Bon (off-screen): "But- just try and remember.. not everyone thinks about you that way."
panel 5: Bon looks at Hana, he's got a big blush on his face and looks oddly nervous. Bon: "You- you mean a lot to... to some people.."
panel 6: Hana wipes a tear away, but he's smiling now. Hana: "Yeah, okay.. I'll try.."
panel 7: Bon hands Hana the folder back. He's looking away from Hana again. Bon: "Also you can have this back. I can't read."
panel 8: Hana tilts his head, confused, but accepts the folder. Hana: "Oh! Is literacy not.. big? Wherever you grew up?"
panel 9: Bon looks flatly at Hana and responds: "No, it is." Hana awkwardly follows up with: "O-oh! So you just weren't interested?" He's trying to make this new information make sense. Bon responds: "No, I was."
