THIS ONE IS SO GOOD!!! the first twist has you like :o ! and then :0 !! and then :O !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it scratches the itch in my head that Homestuck used to. I love. all the characters. I love how they're growing and changing and becoming more dimensional as the comic progresses. really great stuff, highly recommend.
TRANSCRIPT:
panel 1: Chaar sweats nervously and tries to usher Aoife away. Chaar: "why d-don't we talk somewhere else.." Aoife resists, shouting: "wha-!"
panel 2: Chaar leans in, quietly and calmly telling Aoife: "you never know who's listening here..."
panel 3: Chaar brightens up. Chaar: "besides- you must all be tired from travel!" Aoife picks up a very sad Baby. Aoife: "my feet ARE killing me.. and I think Baby could use some quiet time.."
panel 4: They walk together, Chaar making a cheery conversation, as Baby rides on Bonnie behind them, looking just so sad. Chaar: "by the way- what maker are your insoles from? ever since I switched to Dr. Tcholl's, my feet haven't been aching at all!"
panel 5: Aoife pauses. Aoife: "uhh.. I don't think I have any?"
panel 6: Chaar looks at Aoife with shock and horror.
panel 7: Chaar is very concerned about Aoife's predicament. Chaar: "and while traveling too! no wonder they hurt!" She smiles and gestures with her thumb. Chaar: "their shop is on the way to your inn- why don't we stop by!"
panel 8: Chaar smiles brightly. Chaar: "my treat!" Chaar's smile fades and she looks to the side. Chaar: "as an.. apology. for earlier."
