anyways i'm sad, this is the saddest page to me. the third panel of hana realizing or just confirming the sad truth that no one is there for him.. hm. hmmmm. sad.

TRANSCRIPT:
panel 1: hana looks to kiigari, fearfully and hopefully.
panel 2: kiigari looks at him, almost concerned. but she turns away.
panel 3: the maighstir gloats as hana looks from kiigari to his missing fingers. he's realized how alone he is. maighstir: "if you don't want any other parts removed, you'll get down on your hands and knees, and beg for mercy."
panel 4: hana kneels down on the ground in front of the maighstir. maighstir: "that's right, love. all the way down."
panel 5: hana hunches over, face close to the floor. maighstir (off-screen): "there you go."
panel 6: the maighstir stamps her foot on hana's head, knocking his face into the floor. luckily, not hard enough to break his nose or anything. maighstir: "RIGHT where you belong."
