TRANSCRIPT:
panel 1: Tera thinks to herself as the Priomh continues: "people have difficulty comprehending that. it's easier for them to understand if it is framed as a physiological consequence."
panel 2: a wider shot of the room. Zeynah looks down, uncharacteristically regretful. Zeynah: "I... apologize for the deception. you have shown yourself to be quite competent. a colleague, even." Tera listens, but she's still thinking.
panel 3: Tera gestures as she asks: "so they still function as people, they just agree to not be treated as such."
panel 4: Zeynah answers, very chill. this is an intellectual conversation. Zeynah: "partially. but the consequences of breaking the contract is what actually keeps them in line."
panel 5: Zeynah continues, and a basbeo being strung up like a puppet is shown in the background. Zeynah: "they acquiesce their free will unto us. and thus, we can control it if we wish."
panel 6: Tera puts a finger to her chin and asks: "are there any considerations taken for their mental health? whether they are fully capable of consenting?"
panel 7: Zeynah thoughtfully looks to the side, and answers: "mmm... no. quite the opposite, really."
