panel 1: Tera claps her hands. Tera: "Oh! You want to know about bàsbeò?" Kiigari looks annoyed.
panel 2: Tera excitedly continues: "That's one of my areas of study!" Kiigari rolls their eyes.
panel 3: Tera stands up to start lecturing. Hana watches her. Tera: "Okay! So. A bàsbeò is the amalgamation of a physical body and a magic elemental."
panel 4: Tera magically displays a body and a generic depiction of magic. Tera: "A recently deceased body is perforated and an elemental is summoned inside the corpse."
panel 5: Tera's magic display changes to show the body combined with the magic, with bindings around the neck, wrists, and ankles. Tera: "The spirit of the deceased is mixed with the elemental's life force. That new being is bound to the body."
panel 6: Tera claps her hands and smiles at Hana. Tera: "My teacher suggested I think of a bàsbeò as a sort of corpse puppet!" She holds up a finger, reciting: "'The person who existed before is no longer. What exists now is a magical weapon in an accessible and more controllable form.'" Tera smiles again. Tera: "My teacher, the Priomh Draoidh, pioneered the study of bàsbeò."
