Transcript:

panel 1: An elf greets the donkey cart driver as they ride into town. Valentine: "Ah, Gianluca, good morning! How was the ride up?" Gianluca (the cart driver): "Good to see you, Valentine! Not too bad!"

panel 2: The basbeo sneaks an apple from the back of the cart, rolling his eyes at the pleasantries. Gianluca: "Good ole Bonnie didn't stop the whole way up! And we didn't have any wheel problems, now that we got 'em fixed up by that short fellow!"

panel 3: The basbeo goes to take a big bite out of the apple. Valentine (off-screen): "He does have his uses... I SUPPOSE.."

panel 4: Valentine continues: "Still, I wouldn't hang around him much. You know the stories." This piques the basbeo's interest. He pauses to listen in. Gianluca: "They can't REALLY be true, though."

panel 5: The basbeo peeks around the cart at the two gossipers. Bonnie the donkey looks at the apple he is holding. Valentine (off-screen): "You weren't there when he started lurking around! All wild-eyed, hair-matted, shouting nonsense at anyone passing by."
