panel 1: the basbeo is continues listening in on Valentine and Gianluca gossiping. They haven't noticed him. Valentine: "Lara said he was a demon! Sent from the depths of hell inside that mountain! He was shouting curses at us! That's what she said!"
panel 2: Gianluca responds (off-screen): "Now that's really some nonsense." The basbeo frowns, looking serious. Bonnie the donkey is still eyeing up that apple.
panel 3: The basbeo finally notices Bonnie, sticking out her tongue at him.
panel 4: Valentine and Gianluca continue gossiping as the basbeo walks away. Bonnie licks her lips, satisfied with her apple snack. Gianluca: "He is somewhat unsettling I suppose... He always seems like he's just like... Mimicking what he thinks people are like?" Valentine: "Right!"

The unnamed elf holds the apple in front of Bonnie.
VALENTINE: “that scraggly red hair
those teeth…
and there’s no natural way for a young boy to survive in a mountain alone like that.
there’s something wrong with him.”
Bonnie cries as the elf pockets the apple and walks away.
GIANLUCA: “he is somewhat unsettling, I suppose..
he always seems like he’s just like.. impersonating what he thinks people are like?”
VALENTINE: “Right!”
